- Looking for another way to support Urban Homeworks, an organization that helps provide affordable housing for low income families (and that Evensong is volunteering with on May 17)? Come and cheer on Evensongers Micah McLellan and Phil Zimmerman as they run the Go! Northside 5K in North Minneapolis on Saturday, May 31 at 10:30 am. Saturday, May 17, 8 am - 4 pm
Volunteer work includes construction and home remodeling - UHW's goal is to remodel old homes to provide affordable housing for low-income families. They also work to provide a positive Christian presence in 3 different inner city neighborhoods - we'll let you know as the date approaches which neighborhood we are working in. Volunteers are asked to please commit to being present the whole time and to bring a bag lunch; also no children under 16 are allowed on the work site. Christina Tiechrow has volunteered her wonderful photography skills to take pictures of all of us. The dates she will be taking pictures are the 13th and 20th of April, before and after the service.
